I made it!

To Texas, that is. I'm not in Grapevine quite yet. We are staying the night tonight at the Sleep Inn (great name, huh?) in Amarillo, TX. We crossed from Wyoming to Colorado to Oklahoma (only 40 miles) to Texas today! Quite a long day of driving, but all is well...we are in the state and only have about 350 miles to go tommorow, which is a drop in the bucket. What do you think of this picture? Don't you love the big Semi truck in the background...typical of our whole trip down. My highlight of today was visiting the Sierra Trading Post Outlet Store in Cheyenne, WY! I love the magazine and the store is awesome. Tommorow I actually get to see the church where I'll be spending the next year and meet the people I'll be living with...exciting! I called Dori, the woman I'm living with, tonight and talked to her a little. We are both just ready to meet one another. The Mix, the youth group at Fellowship, has been growing. Last group there were something like 720 youth! I definately have my work cut out for me. I love you all and look forward to hearing what is happening in your lives.

I love that you stayed at the Sleep Inn. My mom and I drove past it when we went to Texas for a family reunion and it stuck with me because of the clever name! So totally great. I love that picture of you and your dad! You guys are so cute! So...as I'm sitting here writing this, I am totally overcome with emotion that you aren't here. I will miss you a lot this year my friend. I know that I wasn't here last year, but there are somethings now that I'm back in the state, that just aren't the same without you! I am so excited for you though as you are on the verge of seeing the realization of what we have been praying for you. Have fun!!!

You are so funny!!!! I got your pictures of Lewistown today and I love them...they definately made me smile. How is your new house and life at Fellowship. Is it crazy? David and I were just talking about how huge it is going to be there and that we are going to have alot to talk about when we get back together because it's about the same size as Hillsong(22,000). They just had a humongous youth day here at the Olympic Park Stadium and it made us think of you. It was incredible. They had live bands all day long at 5 different stages (every type of music you can think of), motorcross, carnival rides, BMX, wakeboarding, a skatepark, a flight simulator... crazy!!!! Then that night the father of Rachael Scott(killed at Columbine High) spoke after a United concerte and 1,337 teens made salvation descisions. WOW!!!! David and I got to hook up with the ticketing team and serve all day doing that. All day meaning we had lots of breaks and got to check everything out for free too:) It was awesome! I wish I could have gone with you too because you would have been freaking out. I love you Steph and David does too. Talk to you later. Candice
